One person died after allegedly being attacked with swords and other sharp weapons in Moga’s Badni Kalan on Friday. Police said that five-six attackers on two bikes came to Bada Bazar of Badhni Kalan and attacked Desraj (28).
The accused cut off his head and legs. The man died on the spot. Police said that the deceased had an argument with the accused a few days ago, who works as a labourer. Police said that he had gone to the market on Friday on foot and when he saw the accused coming towards him, he tried to run away.
Some local laborers took him to the hospital but he was declared brought dead.
Inspector Pratap Singh, SHO of Badhni Kalan police station said that the body has been taken to the civil hospital mortuary for post-mortem. One FIR A case of murder has been registered against unknown accused. Some locals told police that three of the attackers had covered their faces while the faces of three others were visible.
