Heavy rain: Holiday declared in schools under Bangalore South-4 | Bengaluru News – Times of India

BENGALURU: The education department on Wednesday declared holiday for government, aided and unaided schools falling under the purview of Block Education Office, Bengaluru South-4 (KR Puram Seema).
This is after heavy rains in the area that resulted in flooding of the city’s technical corridor.

The department had also declared a holiday on Tuesday. Although Monday was not an official holiday, many schools remained closed and some others went online.

According to BEO, around 220 government schools, 32 aided and 452 unaided schools come under the purview of South-4.
