New Delhi: Heavy rains continued for the second consecutive day in Delhi and the National Capital Region on Monday, causing water-logging in many parts of the region.
In its latest bulletin, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted thunderstorms accompanied by heavy rain in the national capital region.

According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of rain in Delhi in the next two days under the influence of Western Disturbance.
Rain activity is likely to intensify on Monday and Tuesday and a ‘Yellow’ alert is in place.
“Since a Western Disturbance is about to affect the region, the city is likely to receive light to moderate rains on Sunday. An official of the Meteorological Department said that light rain is expected on Monday.
There is a possibility of dry weather in the region from October 19, the official said.
