Hindu businessman shot dead in Pakistan’s Sindh province

A Hindu businessman was allegedly shot dead by unidentified assailants in Pakistan’s Sindh province on Monday.

The incident took place on Monday night in Daharki town of Ghotki district of Sindh. The deceased has been identified as Shaitan Lal.

This is the latest incident of atrocities on minority communities in Pakistan. On January 4, Sunil Kumar, another Hindu businessman, was shot dead by unidentified men at Anaj Mandi in Sindh province. According to a report in news agency ANI, the city was put under lockdown due to the murder of the businessman.

On January 30, a Christian priest shot dead And another was wounded by unidentified gunmen who opened fire on him in the northwestern city of Peshawar in Pakistan.
