An 11-year-old Hindu boy was sexually assaulted and brutally murdered in Pakistan’s Sindh province, according to a media report on Saturday.

The boy went missing on Friday evening and his body was found on Saturday in a deserted house in Khairpur-Mir area of ​​the province, his family members said.

The Express quoted Rajkumar, a relative of the child, as saying, “The whole family was busy with Guru Nanak’s birthday celebrations. We don’t know how the child went missing. He was found dead at 11 pm at home.” Tribune newspaper.

“He was a Class V student, and was born in 2011,” he said, adding that the entire area is in the grip of fear after the horrific incident.

A police officer said the boy was strangled to death by the criminals before sexually assaulting him. “We have arrested two people, of whom one has confessed to his crime,” the officer said.

Zubair Mahar of Child Protection Authority Sukkur said that the minor’s body also had marks of torture.

He said that this is the second such incident in the state in the last few weeks.

Zubair Mahar said, “A while back, a minor girl from the Hindu community had gone missing at Saleh Pat in Sukkur district. The police have also announced a reward of Rs 25 lakh for her recovery, but it is all in vain. “
