In a bizarre incident in Bihar’s Khagaria district, a married woman eloped with another man and her husband married his lover’s wife to take revenge.

According to ETV IndiaA woman named Ruby Devi tied the knot with a man named Neeraj in 2009. The couple had four children. However, a few years later, Mr. Neeraj learns that his wife was having an extramarital affair with a man named Mukesh.

In February 2022, Ms. Ruby and Mr. Mukesh got married. When Ruby’s husband finds out, he files a police complaint against Mukesh for kidnapping his wife. According to the outlet, Mr. Neeraj claimed in his complaint that a gram panchayat was organized to settle the matter, but Mr. Mukesh refused to comply and has been on the run ever since.

Mr. Mukesh was also married and has two children. Interestingly, it turned out that his wife’s name was also Ruby. To take revenge, Neeraj decides to marry Mukesh’s wife. The couple tied the knot in February 2023.
