Home Remedies for Stomach Pain: Cumin water can help promote digestion

Whether you go for overeating during the festive season or simply indulge in your favorite dish, you definitely don’t want to upset your stomach. However, if you face stomach cramps or any other type of stomach discomfort, do not ignore it. While people usually take over-the-counter medications for stomach pain, there are home remedies as well. Life coach Luke Coutinho recently shared one such home remedy in a social media post. He shows us the benefits of homemade decoctions made from easily available Indian spices and spices. If you want a harmless remedy for stomach ache, then this recipe is just for you.

Cumin-fennel water for stomach ache:

Luke suggests a bunch of five simple ingredients for this quick recipe. Here is the list:

  • 1 tsp cumin or cumin.
  • 1 tsp fennel or saunf
  • 4 black pepper
  • 3 cloves
  • a pinch oregano
  • Water

How to make cumin-fennel water for stomach ache:

  1. Put water in a sauce pan. put all the ingredients in it
  2. Keep it to boil for 5-7 minutes
  3. Boil it for another 3-4 minutes
  4. Filter the decoction and pour it in a cup
  5. Sip it in warm water to make it more effective on your stomach ache

Luke recommends drinking this decoction thrice a day for best results. He recommends this drink for adults as well as children above the age of 4. However, if the pain persists even after drinking this decoction, he suggests that you visit a doctor for further medical examination.

He called this drink “a simple potent remedy for colic in children and adults.” However, her caption warned, “Make an informed decision… Always check with your doctor. It is not a replacement for prescribed medications. Always see a doctor if your abdominal pain persists.”
