Honor is back in the Android tablet market with this device – Times of India

The company has announced that it will launch it soon Honor Pad 8 Tablet Honor is teasing the Android-based tablet in the country on Flipkart. The device will be available online on Flipkart and is expected to be launched during the upcoming Flipkart sale. From the specifications, it appears to be a budget tablet. There is a possibility that the Honor tablet could be priced under Rs 25,000. The sub-Rs 25,000 segment has become one of the most congested areas in India since the pandemic. Hybrid work culture and online learning have fueled tablet sales in India. New players including Xiaomi, Realme, TCL and Nokia have entered the market.
Honor Pad 8 Specifications
Honor recently launched Pad 8 Android tablet in China. The company is expected to bring the same variant to India as well. The tablet sports a metal body and comes with 8 speakers tuned by DTS Audio. Honor Pad 8 comes with a 12-inch 2K display with 2000×1200 pixels resolution. The Android tablet is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 chipset.
Honor Pad 8 comes in three RAM variants – 4GB, 6GB and 8GB. The device packs 128GB internal storage. The Honor Pad 8 runs on Android 12 operating system, topped with the company’s own layer of Magic UI 6.1.
The device has a 5MP main sensor and a 5MP secondary sensor. The tablet is equipped with 8 speakers tuned by DTS Audio. Honor Pad 8 packs a 7,250mAh battery with 22.5W fast charging support.
