House of Wok brings authentic and delicious Asian flavors to your plate

While Asian cuisine has rapidly gained popularity in India, not many restaurants get it right. If you’re ever in the mood for authentic Asian food at home, try House of Wok. Their extensive menu is armed to whet all kinds of cravings. Started by two childhood friends who brought together flavors and cooking techniques from their travels in countries like Thailand, Japan and China, House of Wok now has 5 outlets across the country.

I tried a variety of dishes from their menu. Wasabi Chili Mayo Prawns There was just the right balance of creamy mayo, tender prawns and pungent wasabi that was thankfully not overpowering. To be honest it was perfect. Chicken and Water Chestnut Dimsums Not bad but I expected a little more from them – a little more juice and succulence would have been great. But Cream Cheese Truffle Dimsums Absolute winners. They burst forth with flavors in my mouth and filled my heart with their creaminess and deliciousness. This dish is at the top of my recommendation list.

Another dish that came close to the heels Cheese Chilli. It was essentially the classic ‘chilli paneer’ we know but by no means was it out of the ordinary. It had a delicious mix of spices and flavors mixed with succulent paneer.

Now coming to Mains, I had Chili Garlic Noodles and Hakka Noodlespaired with Diced Chicken in Black Bean Sauce, The gravy was good, not extraordinary, but delicious and complemented the perfectly cooked noodles. In fact, the chilli garlic noodles were so delicious, I could have eaten it without any sauce or gravy.
