‘How can you expect sympathy from them?’ Akhilesh Yadav condemns ‘selective’ visit of UP minister’s family members to Lakhimpur deceased

Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav on Thursday slammed the Yogi Adityanath government after UP Law Minister Brijesh Pathak met the families of deceased BJP workers. Lakhimpur Violence in Kheri, but did not go to meet the families of the four farmers who lost their lives.

He said: “The BJP government in the state is continuously promoting the ‘Thoko Policy’ due to which criminal activities are increasing in the state and many innocent people are losing their lives.”

On the question of possible inauguration of Kushinagar airport by PM Narendra Modi, the SP chief said, “I have come to know that this airport is also one of the projects of Samajwadi Party government. This is a new kind of tradition which is practiced by BJP where they inaugurate the projects done by the previous government and also re-inaugurate the already inaugurated projects. The people of Uttar Pradesh have made up their mind to remove the BJP from power in the state this time.

He also reacted to Priyanka Gandhi being active in UP, saying: “These people who are coming to UP, they just want to remove BJP.”

On the issue of any last-minute alliance with the Congress, he said: “The prior experience of the Samajwadi Party in tying up with big parties and all the parties with which the party had aligned in the past, the experience is not very good. Was. pleasant. Samajwadi Party is trying to bring together regional and smaller political parties for the 2022 UP elections.
