Sindhi cuisine is known for its sweet and spicy dishes. In this recipe, mutton pieces are slow-cooked in a tomato-curd-based gravy with delicious spices. This mutton curry is spicy and delicious in all things. Mix it with steamed rice or any roti of your choice to make it a nutritious meal. Check out the recipe below:

Firstly pressure cook the mutton pieces with salt and 1/4 tsp turmeric powder. Reserve stock. After this, heat the oil in a deep non-stick pan. Add cardamom, broken black cardamom, cinnamon, black pepper and onion. Fry the onion till golden. Add tomatoes and salt. Mix well. Add ginger-garlic paste to the fried onions and fry for about 30 seconds.

Now add remaining turmeric powder, chili powder, cumin powder and coriander powder to it. Mix well. Cover and cook till the tomatoes are soft and pulpy. Add finely chopped coriander leaves, green chilies and curd. Add the cooked mutton pieces and cook for 5 minutes. Add reserved mutton stock and mix well.
