Huge BJP marches on foot in Telangana, slogan of “Taliban mentality”

As the march began, the entire area was painted saffron with flags, banners and hoardings.

Hyderabad:

Thousands participated in the 55-day BJP-led foot march that began in Hyderabad today, raising concerns about a resurgence of Covid. The Praja Sangram padyatra also took an insult to the “Taliban mentality” against the opposition official, state BJP chief Bandi Sanjay, who was leading it, leveled it against an unknown party.

The Karimnagar MP vowed to “liberate Telangana from the dictatorial rule of KCR’s (Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao) family” and provocatively asked if people wanted a party with a “Taliban mindset”, possibly referring to the AIMIM – Hyderabad MP led by Asaduddin Owaisi.

Bandi Sanjay challenged the Chief Minister to organize Ganesh Shobha Yatra and Hanuman Jayanti from the old city.

As the march began from the Charminar to Bhagya Laxmi temple, the entire area was painted saffron with flags, banners and hoardings.

Long live Rama” And “Long live Mother India“The chanting was done by thousands with no idea about the Covid protocol, allaying the concern that the march would become a covid hotspot.

The BJP leader said Mr Rao had promised jobs and unemployment allowance to youth, a Dalit chief minister and even a 125-feet statue of BR Ambedkar, but did not fulfill those promises.

“Only his family has benefited from becoming Telangana. Now he is talking of Dalit Bandhu scheme… while he is responsible for the suicides of unemployed youth, farmers and students,” he said.

The ruling Telangana Rashtra Samithi reacted sharply to the captive Sanjay’s allegations, threatening to bite his tongue for making “false allegations”.

He said that the captive Sanjay should undertake his padyatra in Delhi to get more central funds for the state.

Union Culture and Tourism Minister G Kishan Reddy also participated in the yatra and said that the BJP will emerge as a political winner after the assembly elections in 2023.
