Huge procession in Udaipur to protest against the murder of the tailor

Udaipur, Rajasthan:

Amid outrage over the killing of tailor Kanhaiya Lal on camera, protesters took out a massive procession in Udaipur this morning.

Protesters waved saffron flags as they took out a procession from Udaipur amid heavy security.

Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot will meet the family of 48-year-old Kanhaiya Lal, who was murdered on Tuesday by two men, who filmed the murder and boasted about it, threatening Prime Minister Narendra Modi as well.

Riyaz Akhtari and Ghaus Mohammad, who were seen on camera attacking Kanhaiya Lal with an ax, were arrested and five more people have been taken into custody.

The National Investigation Agency (NIA), the country’s top counter-terrorism body, is investigating the murder.
