HUL to appoint Madhusudan Rao, Deepak Subramaniam to management committee

Rao, who joined HUL in 1991, is currently Unilever’s executive vice president of home and sanitation. After spending over three decades at the company, Rao has built a track record in marketing, customer development and brand development roles across all geographies.

Subramaniam, currently Vice President, Home Care, South-East Asia & ANZ (SEAA) and Global Head, Fabric Enhancers, joined HUL in 1995 as a Management Trainee.

From marketing manager for Kisan, the company’s ketchup and jam brand in India, and regional brand director for Vitality Foods, Subramaniam went on to become vice president of food and refreshments for Central and Eastern Europe.

The move comes after the maker of Dove Soaps and Knorr Soup announced the appointment of Nitin Paranjpe, chief operating officer of Unilever, as non-executive chairman of HUL with effect from March 31, 2022, as it replaced the company’s chairman posts. divided.
