Police are verifying the report that the photographs and video clips of the victim gang rape case Could have been taken and released by the accused himself. Continuing the search for the absconding fifth accused Omar Khan, the police found evidence that the accused allegedly clicked a group picture after returning to the pub and violated the girl in the vehicle.
The investigators came to know that the family members of the victim got suspicious after seeing some injury marks on the neck of the minor. “The minor did not immediately tell anything to his family members. Obviously, she was in a very disturbed condition by then,” said a police officer on condition of anonymity.
However, the victim’s brother and his friends reportedly went to the pub and started confirming what had happened. “It is possible that the accused became concerned about these inquiries and his father’s complaint to the police and circulated photographs suggesting that he was not at fault,” the officer said.
