Hyderabad: The gang-rape of a 17-year-old girl in Jubilee Hills on May 28 was pre-planned, prima facie evidence suggests, sources in Hyderabad Police told TOI on Sunday.
A police officer said, “Five accused, including four minors and an adult, committed the crime in a pre-planned manner. They also had condoms and used protection while committing the crime.” They got condoms.”
According to sources familiar with the ongoing custodial interrogation of the accused, it is also being verified whether the condom was purchased before entering the pub or a bakery before the premises and later after visiting the crime scene on Road No. Was purchased.

The police have also scrutinized the call data records (CDRs) of all the accused and will use it for further interrogation of them on Monday.
“This will help us understand who was in contact with the accused during the crime and when they were on the run,” the officer said.
Meanwhile, on Sunday, all the six accused – including a minor who has been accused of outraging the modesty of the survivor – were taken to Jubilee Hills Road No 44, so that the crime scene could be recreated. and linking together the sequence of events to understand how the crime was committed and where they went after that.

However, police sources said that there were some discrepancies in the statements given by the accused. “Based on the call records, we need to interrogate him again,” said a source.
It is learned that during interrogation on Sunday, the accused described the victim as friendly and confessed that he sexually assaulted her by taking advantage of her “friendly attitude”. “Irrespective of who raped her first and on whose provocation, all the boys eventually got involved in the crime and that is the truth,” the officer said.

The police are also awaiting the power test reports of the five main accused from the doctors of Osmania General Hospital (OGH), as they believe it is an important scientific report to establish the case.
