The Venue N Line will be based on the top-spec turbo petrol variant of the subcompact SUV

carandbike understands that the Hyundai Venue N will be the next model under the line performance moniker. The Venue facelift was launched recently and also gets several upgrades which are both on the cosmetic and feature front. Bringing an N Line variant seems like a natural extension to that plan, while further capitalizing on the popularity of the SUV. The Venue in its standard avatar drives well, and will drive even better with subtle changes.

While details are scarce, we do know that the Venue N Line variant will get cosmetic changes brought by the facelift. Meanwhile, power will come from a 1.0-litre three-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine that is tuned for 118 bhp and 172 Nm of peak torque. The motor will be offered with a 7-speed DCT automatic and a 6-speed IMT unit. The N-Line variant is likely to be offered with a turbo petrol option only, which means that the 1.2-litre naturally-aspirated petrol and 1.5-litre diesel will not be offered with the N-Line badge.
