Hyundai Motor India today announced the launch of its globally acclaimed ionic 5 in India this year. Hyundai IONIQ 5 This will mark Hyundai’s BEV expansion plans across the country. The company introduced the Kona electric SUV in 2019 and will now launch its second electric vehicle in the Indian market in the form of the IONIQ 5. Performance – With bigger battery capacity, better handling and the ability to achieve a top speed of 260 km/h, e-GMP will usher in a new era of fun-to-drive electric vehicles.

As the name suggests, IONIQ is a combination of “ion” and “unique” which was announced as a long-term research and development project focusing on sustainable mobility.
