Hyundai IONIQ 6 unveiled: A radical Hyundai design that focuses on aerodynamics – Times of India

Originally previewed two and a half years ago as a prediction concept, Hyundai ionic Finally 6 electric sedans have been revealed. With a distinctive design and styling, the IONIQ 6 stands out in the crowd and also within Hyundai’s lineup. One of the highlights of the new IONIQ’s design is the second spoiler at the base of the rear window. In all, the car features 700 ‘parametric pixels’ and Hyundai has also introduced its new ‘H’ badge on the IONIQ 6.
From the inside, the IONIQ 6 isn’t as radical as the exterior design, but it does have some very interesting features. The upper dashboard is identical to that of the IONIQ 5, with a pair of 12-inch screens merged into a single display mounted above a band of air vents.

The Ioniq 6 uses materials such as recycled PET fabric for the seats, paint derived from vegetable oils on the doors, and carpets made from recycled fishing nets. Instead of the H logo on the steering wheel, the IONIQ 6 has four dots which is the Morse code for the letter H.
The exact specifications of the IONIQ 6 are yet to be disclosed, but it is based on Hyundai’s e-GMP platform which also underpins the Kia EV6, Genesis GV60 and several EVs from the Hyundai group. It will use a 77.4 kWh battery pack with a range of around 480 km. The IONIQ 6 will go on sale in the US in 2023 at a price close to $45,000 (approximately Rs 35.5 lakh).
