Newly appointed Jharkhand Chief Minister Champai Soren hailed his predecessor ahead of a floor test on Monday. JMM chief had resigned from the top role last week following his arrest by the Enforcement Directorate in a money laundering case.
“Today the whole country is seeing how injustice is being done to Hemant Soren. If you go to any village, you will find Hemant Soren’s schemes in every house. I proudly say that I am part-2 of Hemant Soren,” the CM said ahead of the floor test.
The JMM-led coalition passed the confidence motion in the state Assembly with a 47:29 majority.
