“I want some”: Internet Reacts To This Seoul Restaurant Selling “Tissue Bread”

Bread is loved all over the world. It comes in many forms and can be eaten in lots of ways. Whether it is a loaf of sliced bread or a warm baguette, bread is a favourite in every culture. People enjoy it because it is tasty, versatile, and brings people together. Recently, a viral video on Instagram showed a renowned tissue bread restaurant in Seoul, known for selling only 100 pieces a day. Tissue bread, also known as “paper bread”, is a popular food in South Korea. It is made up of thin, delicate tissue-like layers of bread that are stacked together to form a single loaf.

The Instagram post features a place named ‘Truffle Bakery’, which is located in Hannam-dong, Seoul. The use of thin layers in tissue bread makes it light and flaky, making it a desirable and sought-after product at the restaurant in Seoul. According to the post, tissue bread is made of specially blended flour, which gives it a neat texture. It also uses “loads of French Gome Butter” which gives it a “thick, luscious butter flavour”.
