IAS officer shares his mark sheet to encourage children who scored low in class 10

central board of secondary education (CBSE) Class 10 and 12 results were declared on July 22. Two days later, the Indian School Certificate (ISC) results were also declared by the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE). Many parents are praising their children’s performance in these all-important exams on social media.

However, many parents are disappointed by their children’s low scores. Parents should understand that these outcomes will not decide the future of their children. It is the child’s wisdom that will decide his fate.

To prove this, IAS officer Shahid Chaudhary has recently shared his 10th marksheet. Choudhary, Secretary, Department of Tribal Affairs, shared his Class 10 marksheets on Twitter. Chaudhary’s marksheet shows that he did not get top marks in class 10th.

Chaudhary has got 70 marks in English, 71 in Urdu and 88 in Science. But he got only 55 marks in Mathematics and Social Studies and a total of 339 marks out of 500. Chowdhary took the exam from the Jammu and Kashmir State Board. Despite his average academic performance in Class 10, Choudhary still managed to become a distinguished bureaucrat. Chowdhary’s tweet read, “On students’ demand, here is my class X marksheet, which is “classified” since 1997.

Shahid Choudhary is an avid social media user and often shares entertaining content on Twitter. Shahid has tried to say that children can be successful in their life despite getting less marks in class 10 and class 12. Choudhary’s tweet has gone viral and many people have trusted his tweet. Twitterati also made fun of her low marks in maths and social studies.

A Twitter user even made fun of his age. Twitter user @manaman_chhina tweeted, “Ah. class 10 in 1997? you are children.”

Responding to this tweet, Choudhary said, “You have made my day sir.”
