IBM to pause hiring, plans to replace 7,800 jobs with AI: report

IBM CEO said that more than 7,000 jobs will be replaced by AI in the coming years.

Arvind Krishna, chief executive officer of International Business Machines Corp., said in an interview that the company expects about 7,800 jobs to be replaced by artificial intelligence in the coming years, Bloomberg News reported on Monday.

IBM did not immediately respond to a Reuters request for comment.
