The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has initiated the process for candidates shortlisted for the IBPS Specialist Officers (IBPS SO 2024) interview to upload their documents. The participating banks are scheduled to declare the allotment results in April. Candidates who received the IBPS SO interview call letter can download the hall ticket from the official website, ibps.in, until March 7.
The interviews will be held at designated centres by the participating banks, coordinated by nodal banks in each state and union territory. The IBPS SO admit card 2024 will contain essential information such as the center details, venue address, interview date, and time.
The institute has clarified that requests for changes to the interview date and center will not be entertained. However, the conducting agencies reserve the right to modify the interview’s date, venue, time, center, etc., or conduct a supplementary process for a specific date or session, if necessary, as stated in the official notification.
The IBPS SO interview will be evaluated out of 100 marks. To qualify, candidates must achieve a minimum qualifying mark of 40 per cent, while SC, ST, OBC, and PwBD candidates must obtain 35 per cent. The final score will be calculated based on the total scores from the Main exam and the interview, with the interview and the Main exam carrying a weightage of 80:20, respectively.
Documents Required For IBPS SO Interview 2024
Candidates are required to produce the following documents for verification during the interview process.
Failure to produce the necessary documents will result in the cancellation of the candidature.
1. Printout of the valid IBPS interview call letter.
2. Valid system-generated printout of the online application form registered for CRP-SPL-XIII.
3. Proof of date of birth. SSLC and birth certificates are considered valid documents.
4. Photo identity proof.
5. Mark sheets or certificates issued by the recognized board or university on or before August 21, 2023, must be submitted.
6. Caste certificate, income certificate, disability certificate.
The institute has also made it clear that requests for any change of interview date and venue will not be considered. “However, the conducting agencies reserve the right to change the date, venue, time, center, etc of the interview or hold supplementary process for a particular date, session, if any,” read the official notification.
