IBSAT 2021 today: From dress code to banned items, rules to know before taking the exam

Indian Business School Aptitude Test (IBSAT) 2021 will be conducted by ICFAI Foundation for Higher Education today (25 December) and 26 December. The entrance test will be conducted as an online computer-based test for applicants seeking full-time admission. MBA courses offered by various ICFAI Business Schools during the academic session 2022-24.

To appear for the exam, applicants need to carry a physical copy of their admit card for verification and identification purposes. IFCAI has banned the wearing of any kind of jewelery and mehndi at the centre. Along with this, dress code has also been issued for the candidates.

dress code: Apart from banning mehndi and jewelry in the exam centre, IFCAI has also asked applicants to avoid wearing clothes that have locks on the pockets. Carrying handbags and purses has also been banned.

gate pass: It is mandatory to carry the physical admit card to the centre. Applicants who have not downloaded it yet can do so by visiting the website of IBS and following these simple steps.

Prohibited Items: Candidates cannot bring any electronic item, mobile phone, pager or any communication device for the examination. If caught copying, action will be taken against them.

COVID-19 Protocol: The candidates will have to follow all the COVID-19 safety protocols during their appearance at the examination centre. They will have to wear masks at all times and follow social distancing.

The two-hour computer-based test of IBSAT 2021 is designed to assess applicants’ analytical thinking, reading comprehension, data interpretation, numerical skills, data adequacy and vocabulary. There will be a total of 140 questions from the respective subjects in the exam. In order to complete the paper on time, candidates are advised not to take more than one minute on any question. For each correct answer, candidates will be awarded one mark and there is no negative marking.
