Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has announced the CA Foundation exam dates. As per the official notification dated 9th September, the CA Foundation exam is scheduled to be held on 14th, 16th, 18th and 20th December. The online registration process will start from 14th September. After this, candidates will be able to fill the form till October 4. website, via icai.org.
Notably, the examination schedule will not be changed even if it is a public or local holiday declared by the Central or State Government. Indian applicants can submit their application form by October 4 with a fee of Rs 1,500. Meanwhile, foreign candidates will have to pay US$325 as registration fee and Bhutan and Kathmandu will be charged Rs 2,200. According to the official notification, the last date for submission of online exam application form is October 9 with a late fee of Rs 600 or US$ 10.

This year, the foundation exam will be conducted at around 277 centers in 29 cities across the country and eight overseas centers in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Kathmandu (Nepal), Bahrain, Thimphu (Bhutan), Muscat, Doha and Kuwait.
The exam for paper one and two will run for a total of three hours from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm, while the examination for paper three and four will be conducted for two hours, starting from 2:00 pm onwards. Will be till o’clock. : 00 pm. The exam will start at 12:30 PM at the centers in Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Muscat.
The notification also states, “The time of commencement of examination in Bahrain, Doha and Kuwait center shall be 11.30 am i.e. corresponding to Bahrain/ Doha/ Kuwait local time/ 2 pm. (IST). The exam start time at the Kathmandu (Nepal) center will be 2.15 pm Nepal local time/equivalent to 2 pm (IST). The commencement time of the examination at the Thimphu (Bhutan) center will be as per 2.30 pm (IST) Bhutan local time.
