An Improvised Explosive Device (IED) was detected on Saturday on the Bandipora-Sopore road between Badiyara and Kanbathi villages in Bandipora district. The Bomb Disposal Squad was immediately called which defused the equipment. As a precaution, the movement of vehicles on the road has been stopped.
