‘If someone is trying…’: Sharad Pawar on Ajit Pawar saying he is ‘ready for CM’s post’

Amid talks of Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) leader Ajit Pawar joining the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) alliance in Maharashtra, NCP chief Sharad Pawar on Sunday said there has been no discussion on the matter in the party.

“If someone’s trying to separate (Ajit Pawar from NCP), so, this is their strategy and they will be doing it. If we have to take a stand, we will take a tough stand. It is not right to say anything on this as we have not discussed anything about it.”
