Defending champions Real Kashmir FC fought hard after beating local giants Mohammedan Sporting 1-0 in extra time to reach the semi-finals of the 124th IFA Shield in Kalyani on Wednesday. RKFC’s Mizoram rookie Lalchhawankima scored the all-important goal in the 98th minute to propel them into the second consecutive semi-final of the IFA Shield.
Earlier both the teams worked hard but could not score the decisive goal by taking the match into extra time.
In another quarter-final at the East Bengal ground, Srinidi Deccan FC scored a 70th minute goal from Lalromaviya, beating George Telegraaf.
