US Open Women’s Singles Final Highlights: Inga Swietek defeated Ons Jabur of Tunisia to win her first US Open title and third Grand Slam at Arthur Ashe Stadium. World number one Sweetek won the first set 6-2 against Ons Jabur. The Polish tennis star started the first set on a domineering note before the Tunisian player could bounce back and give him some real challenge. After this, Inga Swietec put on a great performance and finally sealed the set. Ons Jabeur then made a good comeback in the next set, taking Inga Swietec in a tiebreaker, where the latter eventually came out on top with a 7–5 win. Earlier, Sweetek defeated Arya Sabalenka 3-6, 6-1, 6-4 to reach the final. Jabeur, on the other hand, defeated France’s Caroline Garcia 6-1, 6-3 in the second semi-final.
