In view of the rising COVID-19 cases, the Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has released various Ph. The term-end examinations (IGNOU) for December 2021 have been postponed. syllabus. The exam which was earlier scheduled to be held from January 20 to February 23 has been postponed till further notification.
Earlier, the last date for submission of forms for registration for the term-end examinations of December 2021 (IGNOU December TEE 2021) was January 8, which is now January 14.
The NTA issued the notification on January 7, saying that the extension has been made to counter the “difficulties being faced by the candidates” and to ensure greater and increased participation of candidates. Accordingly, while the last date for submission of application form has been extended till 11:50 PM on January 14, the last date for payment of application fee has been extended till January 15.

Candidates can also dismiss any discrepancy and make corrections in the application form. The correction window, as per the notification by the NTA, is between January 16 to January 18. Candidates who make changes in their application form will have to pay an additional fee based on the changes made. Changes will be accepted until 11:50 pm on January 18th. NTA said that the correction submitted by the candidates will be final, and no further changes will be considered.
This is the second extension given by the exam conducting organization. NTA received several requests and applications regarding extension of last date for submission of application forms for IGNOU entrance exam for various Ph.D. syllabus. In view of the rising COVID-19 driven by the new Omicron variants, the NTA decided to heed several requests and extended the last date from December 31 to January 8. Now, another extension of almost a week has been given again. Candidates can register themselves for the entrance test by visiting the official website www.ignou.nta.ac.in.
