IICA and IIM Jammu sign MoU for synergy in academic, research programs

NEW DELHI: The Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs (IICA) and Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Jammu on Friday signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on conferring degrees, diplomas and certificates on long-term joint courses and contemporary cooperated. Issues at the intersection of business management and corporate affairs.

Praveen Kumar, DG and CEO, IICA said, “Both institutions have their respective strengths, which can be synergized to create a similar academic, research and executive education program.”

The MoU also provides for recognition of IICA as a research center for the purpose of conducting doctoral degrees (PhD) and post-doctoral fellowships to IIM Jammu.

It is proposed to organize joint seminars, conferences and workshops in areas of mutual interest. Centers of excellence on contemporary business management and corporate affairs issues will also be established.

The MoU also provides for exchange of faculty and exchange of educational materials and publications of the centers for the mutual benefit of both the institutions.
