IMD Weather Update: Heavy rain, heatwave in these areas till 12 April

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted rain in Maharashtra, Kerala, Tamil Nadu and northeastern states till April 12. However, the Meteorological Department mentioned that Rajasthan, Punjab, Haryana-Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Northwest India including Vidarbha, Bihar and Jharkhand are likely to experience severe heat wave conditions during the next five days.

IMD Rain Prediction:

IMD has also predicted rain for Kerala and Tamil Nadu for today, April 9.

Apart from this, rain and thundershowers are very likely to occur at isolated places over Madhya Maharashtra and Konkan till April 10.

Coastal Andhra Pradesh will also see light rain with thunder and lightning on April 9.

IMD Heatwave Prediction:

heatwave conditions This week will be prevalent in many northern, central and western parts of India.

East Rajasthan will see severe heat wave conditions during the next five days along with Punjab and South Haryana-Delhi.

During the next 3 days, severe heat wave conditions will prevail over West Uttar Pradesh. Similar situation will prevail in Gujarat on Saturday also.

Heat wave conditions will prevail in Jharkhand and Bihar till April 9-12.
