During the inspection, the District Magistrate directed the officers to conduct special cleanliness drives in and around the artificial ponds and to depute cleaning workers from time to time for cleaning the ponds.
The DM told the officials concerned that the roads leading to the artificial ponds should be repaired and pothole free and proper lighting arrangements should be made there.
