Former Prime Minister of Pakistan, Imran Khan suffered a fracture in his right leg following an assassination attempt yesterday during a protest march in the country’s Punjab province. Four bullets had hit him in his right leg yesterday.
Imran Khan He is undergoing treatment at Shaukat Khanum Hospital in Lahore.
Cricketer-turned-politician Dr Faisal Sultan said an X-ray of Mr Khan’s right leg showed that his tibia was damaged and in fact fractured.
“In this scan, the line you see on the right leg is the main artery. The bullet fragments were very close to it,” Mr. Sultan said.
