PM Shahbaz Sharif directs Home Minister Rana Sanaullah On Monday, amid alleged threats to kill Imran, to beef up his security.
A Home Ministry spokesperson said in a statement that Imran has been provided ‘foolproof security’ as per the order of the PM.
At least 94 security personnel, including 22 policemen from Islamabad, have been deployed at Imran Khan’s residence Bani Gala, the statement said. Similarly, 36 policemen from Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa and six from Gilgit-Baltistan have been deployed to protect Imran.
