Union Home Minister Amit Shah News18 has learned that Delhi held a meeting with Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leaders on Wednesday, where they discussed strategies to “expose” the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and explain the reunification of the MCD to voters. .

Sources said that Shah’s meeting was attended by Delhi BJP President Adesh Gupta, South Delhi MP (MP) Ramesh Bidhuri, party leader Manjinder Singh Sirsa, Leader of Opposition in the Assembly Ramvir Singh Bidhuri and Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.

Sources said the local unit has been asked to prepare a roadmap or strategy to take on AAP.

The leaders have reportedly been told to pull up their socks and get down to work if they want to oust Kejriwal from power in Delhi.

The sources also said that the Union Home Minister asked the group to work together to take on the Delhi government and its “vendetta politics” against the merger of the three Municipal Corporations of Delhi (MCDs).

With no time to lose, the group has been asked to ensure that the Kejriwal government is exposed on all fronts, especially those who claim change of services.

The BJP believes that it can defeat AAP again in the municipal elections if it reaches out to the people to explain how the Kejriwal government allegedly dried up the funds of municipal bodies and left them with no resources to carry out municipal functions. He made them paralyzed.

Delhi civic polls postponed in view of Centre’s decision to circle three corporations. Passed by Parliament, sources said the decision was aimed at improving the financial health of the MCDs.
