Vasundhara Raje also said that the people in the Congress government are least concerned about the public, who know about the four years of misrule of the Gehlot government.

Senior BJP leader Vasundhara Raje on Sunday said that a section of the Congress government in Rajasthan does not want to give up the chief minister’s chair while the other is adamant on grabbing it. Recently, a political crisis broke out in the state with the Congress’ move to hold a meeting of its legislature party at the Chief Minister’s residence on September 25.

This was seen as an exercise to change the chief minister ahead of the election of the Congress president, for which Ashok Gehlot was at the fore. Gehlot’s former deputy Sachin Pilot was one of the main contenders for the chief minister’s post.

Raje also said that the people in the Congress government are least concerned about the people, who are aware of the four years of misrule of the Gehlot government. “One section in the Congress government does not want to give up the chair and the other is adamant on grabbing it. Former Rajasthan Chief Minister Raje said in Bikaner, people in Congress government are least concerned about the people.

The National Vice President of BJP said that people had given power in the hands of Chief Minister Gehlot but they did not listen to him and cheated him. He also alleged that Gehlot is an expert in making false promises.

Raje alleged that the government is yet to fulfill its promise of waiving farmers’ loans and though it has opened English medium schools, the teachers are from Hindi medium.
