In the mood for Indo-Chinese this weekend? Make Easy Kung Pao Vegetables (recipe video)

The way Chinese food has set foot in our country, it no longer looks like a foreign cuisine. From noodles to fried rice, Chinese food is available – from streets to restaurants. But, what we find in every nook and corner of India is not the authentic Chinese but the Indian version of it. We have created our own Indo-Chinese cuisine by adding tons of spices to classic Chinese dishes, and we love it all. But, do you ever feel like trying other dishes apart from the usual noodles? We are sure that you do.

Here we have a recipe for Kung Pao Vegetables that will give you a different Indo-Chinese experience but evoke similar feelings. We found a recipe video of Kung Pao Vegetables on YouTube channel ‘Ananya Banerjee’ and thought of sharing it with you. Vegetarian dishes can be easily made at home with common vegetables and sauces that you use to make other Chinese dishes. Adding cashews makes this dish very tasty to eat.

How to make Kung Pao Vegetables:

Heat oil in a pan. Toss and stir-fry the paneer or tofu and keep aside. In the same pan add garlic, green chilies and cashews and fry. Wait till the cashews turn brown. Add vegetables like capsicum, zucchini etc. Now make sauce by mixing soy sauce, cornflour, brown sugar, vinegar and add salt as per taste. When the vegetables are fried, add cornflour batter to it, add tofu and some sesame oil and some roasted sesame seeds.
