Income Tax team seizes phones, laptops in BBC’s Delhi-Mumbai claims

This information has come out from accurate sources. According to sources, this team reaches the Kasturba Gandhi Marg office in Delhi at 11.20 am. The phones and laptops of all the employees have been confiscated.

According to sources, the documents department has refused to talk to anyone outside till the completion of the survey. The Documents Department has asked the BBC’s Finance Department to provide balance sheets and transaction details over the past several years. The BBC office will remain sealed till the survey of documents is over. This survey is being done regarding the authenticity of the legal department’s formula, international taxation and some financial fictional writers.

According to PTI news, officials have said that the bound department has conducted a survey operation in Delhi and Mumbai of BBC on Tuesday as part of the theft probe. He said that the department is examining the documents related to the businessmen of the company and their Indian unit.

Explain that under a survey, the clerical department inspects only the business premises of the company and does not visit the residences and other places of its promoters or directors.

Incidentally, this comes just weeks after the BBC broadcast a two-part documentary on The Damage and India of 2002. The documentary was removed from public forums last month. The Center had directed the blocking of several YouTube videos and Twitter posts sharing links to the controversial document, using emergency law powers of the Information Technology Rules, 2021.
