Former India captain Virat Kohli has announced a comeback with back-to-back fifties for Team India in the ongoing ICC T20 World Cup 2022 against Pakistan and Netherlands. Virat is yet to get out in this T20 World Cup. He played a match-winning innings in the chase against Pakistan and then played as an anchor in the match against the Netherlands. Virat also has an average of 89 in the T20 World Cup which is the best by a huge margin. However, even after all these achievements, former India opener Gautam Gambhir is ready to call Virat the best batsman of Team India. The batsman was also within striking distance to occupy the top spot in the ICC rankings for T20I batsmen, but finished a distant second before.
