India Energy Week 2023: Bengaluru Police issued traffic advisory, here are the details

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the India Energy Week (IEW) 2023 in Bengaluru on February 6, with the Bengaluru traffic police issuing a traffic advisory and ban on entry of goods vehicles into the city till Wednesday.

As per the traffic advisory, vehicles coming from Mysuru-Bengaluru Road and Ballari-Bengaluru Road have been barred from entering the city till Wednesday. Also, during the same period, all vehicular traffic will be prohibited on KR Puram to Outer Ring Road from Hoskote to Hebbal.

Among others, vehicles coming from Tumakuru on NH-48 Bengaluru-Tumakuru Road and going towards Ballari Road and Hyderabad will have to take a left turn at Dobbaspet to reach Doddaballapur and travel onward.

Vehicles headed towards Electronics City and Hosur will now have to take right at Sondekoppa Cross to reach and proceed to Nees Road via Sondekoppa Road, Tavarekere and Magadi Main Road.

Vehicles coming from NICE Road and wishing to reach NH-48 will now have to take Magadi Main Road and then take a right at Tavarekere to reach NH-48 via Sondekoppa.

All vehicles traveling from Ballari Road towards Tumakuru Road will have to take a right at Devanahalli to reach Dobbspet via Doddaballapur Road. And vehicles going from Hoskote towards Tumakuru Road will have to drive via Budigere Cross, Devanahalli and Doddaballapur to reach Dobbaspet and Tumakuru.

According to details provided by the Prime Minister’s Office, around 30,000 delegates, 1,000 exhibitors and 500 speakers are expected to discuss the challenges and opportunities of India’s energy future. PM Modi will also participate in a roundtable with global oil and gas CEOs during the event and launch several initiatives in the field of green energy.
