The BCCI on Sunday revealed that India head coach Ravi Shastri has tested positive for Covid-19 and has been put in isolation along with three of his close contacts, including the team’s bowling coach Bharat Arun. Shastri gave a positive result on the lateral flow test (rapid antigen test) and will remain in isolation till the RT-PCR test reports of himself and others come. However, there is no threat to the ongoing fourth Test against England as all other playing members have tested negative in the two lateral flow tests conducted on Saturday evening and Sunday morning.
