India recently rejected one billion Chinese dollars… MoreIndia has recently rejected an investment of one billion Chinese dollars. Chinese EV major BYD was looking to invest $1 billion in India. It even included a local partner, the privately owned Hyderabad-based Megha Engineering & Infrastructure. To sweeten the pot, the Chinese also offered to build charging stations, research and development facilities and training centers across the country. But India said no.
