India are currently leading in the ongoing rescheduled fifth Test against England at Edgbaston in Birmingham. Jonny BairstowHowever, England threatened to take the game away from India during their first innings. However, the England batsman was initially struggling with 13 runs off 61 balls and survived a few close calls. But that all changed when Virat Kohli Decided to start some verbal volleys in Bairstow. The two clashed for some time on the field and after that Bairstow played an innings of 93 runs in his next 79 balls. The video of Kohli and Bairstow going on it went viral on social media and now the Englishman has spoken about what happened in between.
“We’ve played against each other for 10 years. It’s a little eccentric. We’re fiercely competitive on the field and that’s about it. We’re playing Test cricket and we’re two competitors. So we Play Bairstow said in a video shared on Twitter by Sky Sports News: “The game and it brings out the best of us. Whatever it takes, you want to get your team over the line and that’s part of the game.”

Bairstow scored 106 runs in 140 balls. But despite his brilliant innings, India took a 132-run lead in the first innings. mohammed siraji and stand-in captain Jasprit Bumrah played with the ball.
India then increased its advantage by: Cheteshwar Pujara He played a solid innings to give India a 257-run lead till stumps on the third day. Pujara remained unbeaten on 50. Rishabh Pant Giving them company for 30 not out.
In India’s first innings, Pant (146 runs in 111 balls) and Ravindra Jadeja (104) scored a scintillating century to help India post an impressive total of 416 runs on the board.
