In a video that has gone viral on social media, an Indian American boy can be seen being bullied at his school in Texas, USA.

“It was terrible. I couldn’t sleep for three nights straight. It felt like I was suffocating. I cried several times watching it,” the boy’s mother was quoted in the NBC report.

In the video, a student can be seen asking the Indian American boy to get up from his seat. When the Indian American boy refused, he was strangled and forcibly removed from the seat.
Meanwhile, other students can be heard reacting to the violence but it cannot be stopped.
At Coppell Middle School North, a 14-year-old is assaulted in the cafeteria while students just stare.
The juvenile had to face three days’ imprisonment in the chokehold. His parents are angry. The other teens faced a 1-day sentence.

Videos shot by fellow students and shared online have sparked anger on social media. An online petition supporting the boy has garnered over 1.5 lakh signatures.
The incident took place at Coppell Middle School in Texas. The school management said that they are investigating the matter.
Meanwhile, the boy’s parents have sought legal representation in the matter.
