Indian Army Opens Recruitment For 140th Technical Graduate Courses – News18

The 140th TGC will begin in October 2024.

The minimum age required to get selected is 20 years while the maximum age of the candidate should be below 27 years to become eligible for the recruitment.

Indian Army is inviting applications for unmarried male and female engineering graduates for the 140th Technical Graduate Courses ( TGC), October session 2024. The training will take place at the Pre-Commissioning Training Academy of the Indian Army. It has released a total vacancy of 381 seats for engineering graduates. Among this, 350 seats are vacant for male candidates while female candidates have been offered 29 seats for the same. The widows of Defence Personnel are also given the reservation of two seats. Interested candidates can fill out the online application form from the official website–https://joinindianarmy.nic.in/. The last date to apply for the course is February 21. The selected candidates will be granted Short Service Commission on probation in the rank of Lt from the date of commencement of the course. The salary of the Lieutenant for the position will be in the range of Rs 56,100 to 1,77,500.

Step 3: Access the application form with your registered ID and password

Step 4: Fill out the application form by entering the required details

Step 5: Upload the necessary documents

Step 6: Pay the required application fee.

Step 7: Submit and download the application form.

The applicants who have completed or are pursuing their final year of Engineering degree are eligible to apply for the post. They need to submit their degree certificate within 12 weeks after the commencement of the course.

According to the recruitment notification, the selection process of shortlisting the candidates will depend upon the SSB interview and the mark scored in the Engineering course. The merit list will be prepared adding the marks from both exams.
