Indian Motorcycle Chief Lineup Price: 2022 Indian Chief Motorcycle Line-up Launched in India, Starting at Rs 20.75 Lakh | – times of India

New Delhi: America’s first motorcycle company is celebrating its 100th anniversary Indian Motorcycle on Friday announced the launch of its new 2022 Chief lineup in India, priced at Rs 20.75 lakh (ex-showroom).
Based on a timeless, simple steel-tube frame and powered by Indian Motorcycle’s powerful Thunderstroke motor, the new Indian Chief Dark Horse, Indian Chief Bobber Dark Horse and Indian Super Chief Limited offer three unique takes on the classic American V-twin.
The new Chief offers a stripped-down riding experience where power, minimalism and attitude lead the way. It harks back to the glory days of the American V-twin, when nowhere on the road, with good friends and only the essentials, was the stuff of legends.

With heavy tires wrapped around spoke wheels, a muscular-up front end and a solo bobber seat, the Chief Bobber Dark Horse Classic pays a stylistic homage to the post-war era V-twin, military veterans and blue-eyed Bobbed and chopped by collar rebels, intended to break the mold.
Indian Motorcycles offers the Super Chief, Limited with saddlebags and a windshield, it offers a bit more versatility and begs for longer miles and even more adventurous getaways.
The new Indian Chief lineup epitomizes the intersection of simplicity and power. Mechanical and simple, the main models are based on a classic steel welded tube frame. The lineup gets a 15.1-litre fuel tank, bobbed rear fenders, dual outboard preload-adjustable rear shocks, dual exhausts, LED lighting, keyless ignition and Pirelli Knight Dragon tyres. As with cruise control, lead riders can adjust throttle response by selecting one of three ride modes: Sport, Standard or Tour.
Featuring a short wheelbase of 1626 mm, a low seat height of 662 mm and a low wet weight of 304 kg, the Indian flagship lineup inspires confidence and is acceptable to any rider. The Chief’s conventional 46mm front forks, along with 132mm of travel, a 28.5-degree lean angle and comfortable ergonomics, make it a capable machine for even the most technical of riding routes.

Powering all the premium main models is the Thunderstroke 116 (1890cc) engine from Indian Motorcycles that churns out 162 Nm of torque. ABS is standard, while the premium finish sets these bikes apart and displays craftsmanship and attention to detail. Each Chief and Chief Bobber Dark Horse model packs forward attitude with a premium gloss black finish, while the Super Chief Limited boasts a premium chrome finish.
Additionally, each model delivers a premium experience with its industry-first, 101mm Round Ride Command System. Riders can operate the Ride Command system via grip controls or a digital IPS touchscreen display. Riders can cycle through several interfaces, including two different gauge configurations, bike and ride information, and turn-by-turn navigation.
If using a wireless helmet communicator, riders can control their music within the Ride Command system once their phone is paired via Bluetooth or USB. Riders can also access phone information, including recent calls, contacts, number pad and text message history. When connected, incoming calls will be visible and can be accepted or rejected directly through the RIDE COMMAND system.
