Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) has invited applications for 527 Technical and Non-Technical Apprentices at its locations in Eastern India. West Bengal, Bihar, Jharkhand and Assam are the states where the trainees will be trained. The registration window opened on November 5, and the last date to apply is December 4.
Among the openings, there are both data entry operators and retail sales associates for freshers. Candidates will be selected through written test, the tentative date for which is 19th December. Interested and eligible candidates can apply for Apprenticeship on the official website of IOCL at iocl.formflix.com. The hired apprentices will have to undergo training for a period of 12 months.

Selected candidates for Data Entry Operator will have to undergo 15 months of training, while Retail Sales Associate freshers will have to complete 14 months of training.

Step 2: Now click on ‘Apply Online’ on the top left and register yourself
Step 3: You will get the registration number through SMS/Email
Step 4: Now click on ‘Applicant Login’ just below the ‘Apply Online’ tab
Step 5: Enter your details, and fill your submission form
Step 6: As per IOCL, no fee is applicable for online form submission
Download the acknowledgment receipt, and keep your login credentials private at all times
To get selected for the job, candidates have to appear for the written test. The exam is expected to be held on December 19. IOCL said that it will issue the admit card to the applicants on December 9.
Out of 527 vacancies, general category candidates can fill 253 seats, while Economically Weaker Section (EWS) applicants get 47 seats. 80 and 43 seats are reserved for SC and ST category candidates respectively. OBC candidates get 104 seats.
For General and EWS candidates, the maximum age to apply for apprenticeship is 24 years as on 31 October. Age relaxation will be given for SC/ST and OBC applicants as per government guidelines.
