Indian Railways officer shares mesmerizing picture of cloud kissing hills in Tamil Nadu

Indian Railways operates one of the largest train networks in the world. Its trains often travel through some of the country’s most breathtaking scenery. Recently, IRAS officer Ananth Rupangudi shared a mesmerizing picture of a beautiful landscape that featured cloud kissing hills and lush green fields.

The picture was taken along the Sengottai-Punalur line near Bhagavathipuram station in Madurai, Tamil Nadu.

Recently, the Minister of National Planning, Housing and Infrastructure of Maldives shared a picture World’s highest railway bridge in Jammu and Kashmir, Praising the beautiful bridge, he wrote, “I am very impressed with the development that Indian Railways is bringing to the country.”

The Chenab Rail Bridge, built 359 meters (about 109 ft) over the Chenab River in the Jammu and Kashmir region, is about 35 meters taller than the Eiffel Tower.
